题目：Quartic Congruences and Eta Products

摘要🧑‍🏫🤏🏿：For $N\in \{11,14,15,20,24\}$ let $a_{N}(n)$ be the $n$-th Fourier coefficient of the eta product corresponding to newforms of weight $2$ with level $N$.   In this talk, we reveal the connections among $a_{20}(p),a_{24}(p)$ and residue-counts of certain quartic polynomials modulo $p$, where $p>5$ is a prime. We also deduce the congruences for $a_{15}(p),a_{24}(p)$ modulo $16$, $a_{14}(p),a_{20}(p)$ modulo $4$ and $a_{11}(p)$ modulo $2$, and pose three challenging conjectures concerning $a_{11}(p)$ modulo $4$ and $a_{14}(p),a_{20}(p)$ modulo $8$. This is the joint work with Dongxi Ye.

报告人简介: 孙智宏👩🏽‍🦱，淮阴师范意昂4数学与统计意昂4教授，先后被评为“全国师范院校曾宪梓教师奖三等奖”、“江苏省师德模范”👐🏼、“江苏省中青年学术带头人”🤟🏼、“江苏省优秀教育工作者”、“全国优秀教师”、江苏省二级教授等。孙智宏教授在数论、图论与组合数学方面取得了丰富的研究成果🐰，共发表学术论文70余篇。他彻底解决了三四次剩余中长期悬而未决的几个难题💇‍♂️，并获批多项国家自然科学基金面上项目🏨。
